Dear Sheppy and Family I was sorry to read about my cousin Dave’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all your family.
A little trivia when Dave and I were 6 and 7 we lived in McQueen just about four or five houses from one another.
We use to run the streets of leathrwood and often we would run I do mean run down to Meaderville where our grandmother (Margaret Egedahl) lived on main street. (SHE WAS THE BEST).
We would go down there quit often and she would just hug us and be happy we went to see her. To this day I can remember her hugging and kissing us. She always made us feel better than before we got there. She would sit on her couch looking out the window and telling us (WHEN YOU GROW UP YOU CAN BE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO BE) and that would always make us feel better
When Christmas would come the whole family would be at my grandmother’s-Children hsving dinner in the kitchen and the grown ups in the dining room. After the dishes were done and cleaned up. The music would start my dad would be on the piano or his guitar and our uncle Wayne would play lthe ukulele. Our aunt Gertie would get up start dancing clapping her hands and pretty soon everyone would be singing clapping hands and dancing. I don’t know if our grandmother knew how much she meant to usl However Dave and I knew how important she was to us. S
Sincererly, Sherrie Egedahl Minudri
