On October 16, 2019, a clear fall night, the last walk on the 18th green in the sky took place. Now a front row seat to the PGA Masters Tournament is to be had!
Curt was born in Conrad, Montana to Carl and Clara Skeslien on June 9, 1939.
Curt began a 34-year career with Safeway in Shelby, Montana and ended his career in Dillon, Montana. Later Curt and Connie owned the Klondike Bar, Restaurant, and Casino.
On October 20, 1979, Curt married the love of his life, Connie Sutherland, in Butte, Montana and became known as “Curtzo” to Connie’s family.
Curt loved golf, Pinochle, and his Cadillac’s.
Survivor’s include his wife of 40 years, Connie of Butte, daughter and son-in-law Sheri and Dan Weaver of Orofino, Idaho, as well as grandchildren, Chris, Eric, and Chelsey and their children. Brother Ed (Barb) of Shelby and sister Anna (Carl) Clark of Shelby, sister-in-laws Gloria (Owen) Perala of New York Mills, MN, Michele Kasun of Butte, Colleen O’Donnell of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, brother-in-law Tim (Mary) O’Donnell of Cardwell along with special friends, Jessie Lance and Mark and Susanne Dauenhauer. Also, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Curt’s Life will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Mountain View Cemetery at 1 p.m. A luncheon will follow at the East Side Athletic Club.

Connie I was saddened to hear of Curts passing.. I will never forget our times together, when my dad Curt and I would go fishing during the summer.. Just like when we would go to your guys house and watch football when you lived in Dillon.. You have another angel watching over you now, amd Curt’s out of his pain.. God Bless You Connie
