In Memory Of

Colette Robinson, age 60, of Butte

December 9, 1958 – September 5, 2019

On Thursday, September 5, 2019 near the stroke of Midnight, Colette Mae Robinson, died at age 60, surrounded by family, friends.

Colette was born on December 9, 1958 in Duluth, MN. She graduated from Duluth Denfeld High School. She attended Duluth Business School earning credentials as administrative assistant and studied to be a disc jockey. She also obtained her Real Estate license and flipped houses before it was “cool”.

Colette knew no stranger. Everywhere she landed throughout her life, she wove a rich tapestry of friendships. She was generous with her love, her kindness and was anchored by service to others. If you needed help, she was the first to volunteer. She loved animals, especially her 3 kitties. She loved her disco music, dancing and animal print anything. She loved to travel, cook and entertain. She possessed an irresistible, palpable presence. She will be greatly missed.

Colette is preceded in death by her mom Patricia, her dad Delbert, her brother Keith and her grandparents. She is survived by, sisters Candice and Kellene, brother Kurtis, a nephew,  several nieces and many friends. The date and time for a celebration of life to take place in Duluth, MN will be announced at a later date. Start practicing your disco moves. “We gonna celebrate and have a good time”, as she wished.

Axelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been privileged to care for Colette.

Missing her already. We used to text every day and hang out every week. Only knew her the last year of her life but she was a gem and won’t ever forget her kindness.
