Brandon Tyler Hennelly, 38, passed away March 7th, 2025, after a courageous battle against cancer. He had his wife Debbie, close family, and friends alongside of him.
Brandon showed incredible strength throughout the years, and fought tirelessly to be able to spend as many years as he could with his wife Debbie. They loved fishing trips, going on adventures, playing video games, and trying new restaurants and beers.
Brandon served in the Army right after high school. He was proud to be a service member. His detailed, graphic stories brought humor and nightmares to those he told about his time served. When returning from the military Brandon moved to Missoula and went to school at the University of Montana. He then moved back to Butte, and worked a few different jobs, before ending up at Petco, where he met his wife, Debbie.Brandon was a unique soul, loved by so many. He was quick to make a joke, no matter the situation, to create a lighter more enjoyable mood. He had no shame, and would bust out his “activities outfit” for most special occasions. If you know, you know. He was truly the “life” of the party. His wit, humor, and knowledge will be missed terribly.
“Hennelly” truly valued his time with friends, and had many great friends who stuck with him throughout the years. His crazy antics made any conversation and night out much more memorable. Jacquie wants everyone to know how much “Hennelly” loved the Scream franchise of movies. Hennelly wanted it to be mentioned that he wanted John Cena to take up Jim Varney’s legacy and make an Ernest movie.
Brandon is survived by his wife Debbie Hennelly; his spoiled pets; Mother (Tona Baxter); Sister (Kayla Hennelly); Uncle (Topper/Steph Hennelly); his good friends, Jacquie Garcia(Jonnie), Aaron Lasky, Brad O’Leary, Ben Brady, and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brandon is preceded in death by, Arlene and Ed Hennelly (grandparents).
Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be located at Sunset Cemetery (Fairmont) at 12pm, and reception will follow at 1:30pm, at the Scandia Bar (upstairs).
To reach the Cemetery, travel on I-90 exiting at Exit 211 (Fairmont Road) head towards Fairmont Hot Springs, taking your first right once off the overpass, Crackerville Road, continue around 1 mile and the cemetery will be on your right.

Theresa Froehlich (O’Leary) says
Brandon was always such a carefree, funny, never-a-dull-moment, think-outside-the-box, optimistic person, who had a heart of gold. 💛 I loved when I got to hangout with you two…some of my favorite, hilarious memories. ♥️ I loved our Trivia nights at the Vu. We had the best team name, ever, in the history of Vu Trivia: “Testicular elephantiasis + Brad’s mom”. 😅
Life is so unfair. 😩 Brandon was one of the truly good guys. ♥️ He will be so missed.. 💔 😭 💔
