Barbara Jane Beecher, 81, of Butte, MT passed peacefully in her sleep on August 17, 2019 at Continental Care & Rehab. Barbara was born to Albert and Mabel Worth on March 31, 1938 in Butte. She graduated from Butte High School in 1956, and then married Ross Beecher on January 6, 1957 at the Trinity Methodist Church in Centerville. They had three children: Theresa, Sandra, and J. Ed.
Barbara enjoyed her needlework, photography, flower arranging, and she was the secretary of her bowling league. She spent her life raising her three children.
She is survived by her husband: Ross Beecher, children: Theresa (Bob) Voss, of Los Lunas, NM, Sandra (David) Riley, of Gillette WY, and J. Ed Beecher, of Walkerville, MT, sisters: Judy (Bernie) Shelton, of Butte, MT and Donna Worth of Whitehall, MT, grandchildren: Kandi Voss, Shawn (Venus) Voss, and Colin Riley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her parents: Albert and Mabel Worth and brother: Bud Worth
The family would suggest memorials to the MS Society or a favorite charity of donor’s choice.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at St. Ann’s Parish Hall, 2100 Farragut Ave., Butte, MT. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Silver Bow County.
