Jim Griffin, age 63, of Whitehall – loving husband, dedicated father, ecstatic grampa, loyal friend, and proud smoke jumper – went home to the mountains on Monday, May 29th. He left with a heart full of joyful anticipation for the future and deep gratitude for the past. In remembrance, please consider donating to the Butte Food Bank in his honor.

Gene Raymond Loomis, age 73, of Deer Lodge, Montana, died Saturday, May 27th at the Deer Lodge Medical Center.   Gene was born on October 10, 1949 to the late Glenn R. and Rose E. (Mance) Loomis in Bozeman, Montana.  Gene was a painter by trade.
