Jacqueline Marie Blom (1959 – 2024) of Butte, MT, died on June 12, 2024.
She was born in Butte, MT in 1959 to Jack and Vonnie Dahlman. Jackie held many jobs throughout her life and touched the lives of everyone who grew to know and love her.
Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Jack Dahlman; grandparents Tom and Ann Cleary, grandparents Jack and Marie Dahlman; brother-in-law Ralph Rabson; nephews Zachary Bennefeld and Paul Blom; Uncles Tom Cleary and Tim Dennehy; father-in-law Phil Blom, and her chosen family, Cheri Farstveet, Orville Looper, and Sandy McLinden.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Mike Blom; her mother, Vonnie Dahlman; her three children, Billy & Flyne Janhunen, Veronica & Robert Harmon, and Cory & Jade Farstveet, and their families. Her siblings are Mary Ann & David Allison, Patti and Terry Browning, Jody & Mike Krzan, Colleen Rabson, and Todd & Sharon Dahlman. Her mother-in-law is Joan Blom, and her family members include Debbie & John Witty, Gary & Meg Blom, Scott & Bunny Blom, and Chris Blom. Her Aunt Jan Dennehy, Uncle Walt Luedtke & Aunt Darlene Luedtke, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, especially her lifelong best friend, Jeanny Hunter.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 329 W Mercury St, Butte, MT 59701, followed by a reception at Star Lanes Family Sports Center, 4601 Harrison Ave, Butte, MT.

My heart is just breaking for her entire family. I first met Jackie at the football parents group, she was always so helpful teaching the new parents the ropes! She loved her children and was so proud of them all. She will be missed and remembered always.

I am so saddened to hear of Jackie’s (J.D.’s) passing. We played softball together for Dahlman-Star Lanes in our younger years. J. D. had such a sweet and warm soul and my fondest memories of her are of her laughter, her funny sense of humor, and driving us around in her convertible. Rest in Peace.
